The Solution:

  • The Hydro Flo Technologies Model HydroCell Three-Cell Sand Filter system is an automatic, reliable and economical way to remove suspended solids from water and wastewater;
  • The HydroCell Sand Filter system is designed as a three cell filter system with pressure differential sensing sequential backwash that only backwashes one individual filter bed at a time leaving the other two beds online;
  • The HydroCell backwash cycle uses either filtered same source forward flow backwash in the pressure filter mode, or uses clean separate source backwash in the gravity mode. The HydroCell triple cell feature keeps the filtration system online and processing forward flow even during the backwash mode;
  • The HydroCell Sand Filter is available with a variety of media types, coating, and internals to suit any application. The HydroCell Sand Filter uses stage of the art design technologies that include high capacity flow control and backwash sequencing valves with double shaft seals for leak free operation;
  • The HydroCell Sand Pressure Filter System includes a controls package that is configurable with simple stager, electro mechanical relay logic, or PLC control. The entire sand filter package is skid mounted, pre plumbed, pre wired and tested. Installation requirements are minimal as the system arrives ready to run.
