Exteranl railcar cleaning system

KMT International, Inc presents external washing system as part of complete stationary module systems for washing the railroad car tanks "Railcar cleaning system" ( 1.23 МB) and defrosting of viscous residue of residual fuel oils inside of the railroad car tanks.

The Systems are intended for railroad transportation, oil, and petrochemical industries. The implementation of these systems plays an important role in maintaining environmental safety.

The systems are designed to avoid dangerous conditions during operation and minimize the exposure of workers to hazardous materials.

The meeting of US government requirements for fire- and explosion proof equipment has been achieved by designing the equipment according to the guidelines of U.S. Labor Safety Department for the fire- and explosion proof systems, using a hydraulic power supply and controls with no electric wiring. There is no human-operator present inside the railroad tank car during the internal washing operation.

The system design is flexible to meet the customer requirements for sewage discharge, washing solution etc. and also takes into consideration the local weather conditions.
