Oil tank cleaning and sludge processing

KMT International, Inc presents "MegaMacs" is a self contained cleaning system for the liquefaction and primary phase separation of industrial sludge's found in many vessels. MegaMacs system - contains all essentials required to perform sludge extraction from the tanks, the corresponding sludge phase separation, and internal surface cleaning in one fully mobile unit. In addition MegaMacs provides a power source to drive the various peripheral equipment used to extract sludge from the vessel being cleaned.The very useful option of the system is mobile three-phase separation unit based on state-of-the-art Tricanter centrifuge mounted on the trailer.

MegaMacs system consists of multiple process modules that are interconnected by hoses to form a continuous process for extracting the sludge and separation it into its base components for disposal or re-use. Each of the main modules is equipped with full undercarriage, hitch, lighting and brakes to make them fully portable and to eliminate the need for cranes or heavy lifting devices during jog site set up. Each module contains all pertinent equipment required for its part of the process and is fully self supporting requiring only diesel fuel and process water. Auxiliary equipment are hydraulically driven and controlled from the main modules.

The system as designed can handle just about any process from heavy sludge to light oils. The extraction tools are easy to use and are extremely efficient. Extraction and process rates for the system can be as high as twenty tons per hour while meeting the demanding discharge specification. The process is designed to address separation of oil, water, bottom sediment and suspended solids. If required in addition of a unique thermal desorption module can further process the separated solids prior to disposal.
